1. Materials you will need:
— faux fur (or other material) for the top of the hat and ears;
— fleece (or other material) for the inside of the hat;
— felt of two colors for palms.
Tooling:
— pattern: FREE DOWNLOAD;
— scissors;
— glue;
— threads;
— sewing machine.
2. Print the pattern, transfer to the fabric and cut them. Consider the direction of the pile. Remember that the parts must be the same. Otherwise, the hat will look sloppy.
3. Sew all the small details (ears, pockets, tucks near the neck). Pockets are sewn on the front side of the hat. For convenience, we sew ears together with a pattern on a large piece of fabric, and then cut them out.
4. Sew the ears into the top of the hat. Do this as shown in the animation.
5. Sew two halves of the hat.
6. Working on the inside of the hat. Glue the details of the felt and sew them to the bottom of the hat as shown in the photo.
7. Sew two halves of the inner part of the hat.
8. Turn inside out the outer and inner parts of the hat. Fold the parts face each other. Secure them with pins and sew the parts. Leave a hole near your neck.
9. Through the remaining hole, turn the hat. Carefully sew the hole. Your hat’s ready! You’re great!
